The symposium takes place in a scenery region in the south of the Alps: in St. Kanzian and at the lake Klopein. There, at the "Kulturzentrum K3" (German for "cultural center"), the artists will meet and work there during the day.

The best way to reach the center K3 is by car.

• When coming from Munich/Salzburg (Motorway A10):
  Take the A10 to "Villach / Klagenfurt", then take the A2 to "Graz / Wien", take exit "Grafenstein" (sign: "Klopeinersee"), then take the B70 to "Völkermarkt" and after about 6 km (sign: "Klopeinersee") turn right, take the direction to "Tainach", then cross the river Drau ("Draubrücke") and you come to "St. Kanzian".

• When coming from Vienna/Graz (Motorway A2):
  Follow the A2 to "Klagenfurt"; take exit "Völkermarkt-Ost" (approx. 25 km before "Klagenfurt", there is a sign: "Klopeinersee"); take the B70 to "Völkermarkt", in the roundabout in "Völkermarkt" turn left; take the direction to "Eberndorf / Kühnsdorf" (always following the signs to "Klopeinersee"). cross the river "Drau", and in "Kühnsdorf" turn right.

K3 is located directly in the center of the village St. Kanzian, opposite from the petrol station. There is also a (German) website with current information about the cultural center.
