This is the homepage of the Alpine-Adriatic Art Symposium. Its overall objective is to promote the artistic interaction of artists of various styles (painting, drawing, and ceramics) in the alpine-adriatic region.
At intervals of two years, it organizes events in and around St. Kanzian/Austria to support art and increase the visibility of an exceptional cultural and scenic region in the southern part of the province of Carinthia. We are proud to announce that during the last few years, we have had participants from several countries, including Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, and Austria.
News: The now 10th Alps-Adriatic Art Symposium will occur from June 2nd to June 7th, 2025,
in St. Kanzian and Lake Klopeiner. Artists from the Alps-Adriatic region (Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Austria) will work together and exhibit their works at a closing event. The works will be created in the cultural center K3 in St. Kanzian. On Saturday, June 7th, 2025, the public closing event of the symposium, including music from Edgar Unterkirchner, will take place (also at the Cultural Center K3) at 8:00 pm, where the created works and prints will be shown. All interested visitors are cordially invited to attend.
